Media Trust – get your voice heard in Wales
Deadline: 31 March 2012
Do you want to get your voice heard? National communications charity Media Trust has several projects for communities and charities in Wales that could help.
Cymru Online With Me! If you don't have a website, or you have one that doesn't meet your needs, then Media Trust can help. Through a partnership with Originet, a web design company in Newport, it is offering small communities and charities across Wales the chance to get a website built for free. You'll also get training in how to keep it updated and on how to write for the web. All you need to do is apply at www.mediatrust.org/cymru. Applications open on 1 March and close on 31 March.
Media Trust's newsnet
Want to be part of your local story? Media Trust has launched an exciting new project giving people the unique opportunity to connect, share, and learn to tell their local story. Newsnet is a UK-wide community of citizen journalists, community reporters, and local storytellers, which gives them the tools, skills and connections to get more from their local news. Why not join to access the library of free resources, talk to other like-minded people, and get free support from media professionals who are keen to help.
