14th South West Play Celebration

Saturday 16th June 2012

The 14th South West Play Celebration explores the idea of 'free range childhoods' and the ensuing role of adults in supporting children's play in a wide variety of settings. Whether you work in an urban or rural community, and in a strategic or hands-on role, the wide range of workshops will inspire and equip you to make sure children where you live can play every day.

Keynote Speaker

Wendy Russell - Senior Lecturer in Play and Playwork, University of Gloucestershire Nature Deficit Disorder or Free Range Childhood: what's in a slogan?

Finale

Finale storytime with Chris Holland of Wholeland Nature Connection, also know as the Didgeridoo Man.
Someone from the audience will pick the story to be told from Chris's magic story-bag...what will the story of the moment be?
