We bring a little rainbow of happiness through community inspired & created gift boxes to help children suffering under the cloud of life limiting illness.

ReusefulUK would like to introduce you to a concept to brighten the lives of children experiencing long term illnesses within Fenland.

Many children experiencing long term debilitating illnesses do not have the same opportunities as other children. Their lives often involves hospital visits, continual medical treatment and poor health. Many lack opportunities for making personal choices, social inclusion and spending time with others to do fun activities and play. This has a negative impact on the mental health of many young people, together with their families which isolates them further.

We would like to provide 25 children with a ‘Box of Rainbows’ every month for 6 months and we are seeking your support in helping us to send these craft boxes to children affected by long term illness. Typically packs will include a selection of craft kits, felt, fabrics, glue, coloured paper, card, cork, pipe cleaners, pom poms, wool and some creative ideas sheets to provide inspiration.

This will give 25 families the opportunity to play, be creative, have a sensory experience, which we hope will enable them to have fun while spending time with a loved one who helps them.

This is where we need your help in reaching these families. We intend to allocate 5 boxes to each of the market towns within Fenland - Chatteris, March, Whittlesey and Wisbech with the remaining being allocated where most needed.

We would appreciate your support in reaching out to those families who will benefit most sharing our liking and sharing our Facebook page and completing the Request a Rainbow form which can be found by clicking here.

or by post to the following address:

ReusefulUK,
3 Commercial Road,
March,
Cambridgeshire, PE15 8QP

In return we would like to obtain feedback from the families regarding their overall experience and also consent for photographs to be taken.

If you would like any further information, please feel free to contact the Enquiries team on 0560 364 9391.
